The Korean Neuroendovascular Society (KoNES) was founded in December 1995 with nine members with an initial name of Korean Society of Intravascular Neurosurgery (KSIN), which was changed its acronyms as KoNES at Jul. 2012, and is now boasting about 300 members. This society is founded for academic development and exchange about endovascular therapy of brain and spinal cord. By hosting annual academic conferences and monthly forums, KoNES has facilitated academic exchange among its members.
